CJ6 Meyers hardtop

I have a 1970 CJ6 with a Meyers hard top on it, only has the two rear windows on the sides. Loking to put the two front windows in and also the back narrow windows.
Could anybody get me the size of the glass and the location in the panels.
I am wanting them because people in small cars like to drive in the blind spot.
Almost got a Cooper the other day.

I know many people use lexan. Lightens the top up and it is easier to work with. If it was anything othet than an all original and rare CJ6 I would say cut the holes bigger for more glass.

Would a hard top from a 1971 fit my 1966-?
realy not sure of the tub but paper work is 1966 but it has roll bar see vince's jeep on interductoins

 

Hard tops will interchange up to '75. In '76 they changed the windshield design. Nickmil

The hard top should fit with a rollbar if it is a factory bar by JEEP.
I have a 1976 rollbar in mine with a Meyer hard top with 1" clearance in side.

Andrew, I had a cab on my CJ-6 like you have on your CJ-6. You could punch some holes in it to make the 'deluxe' version, but I'd suggest it'd be easier to get some of the convex spot mirrors to fill in the blind spots. The RV and tow truck suppliers have a large selection of add-on convex mirrors.

 

Tried the convex mirrors, thay work until someone bumps mirrors in the parking lot, don't know till you start driving, driver side not to bad but pass side is the pits.
Yes I want to cut the top to make it a deluxe unit.
Working on putting more power in JEEP Buick 350,t350,d20, centered 44, 30 front.

I have the Koenig hardtop on my CJ6 with all the windows but that still probobly doesnt do you any good. Anyway I'm always willing to lend a hand to a fellow New Mexican if I can.
