Fuel filters

    Ive got this...........

    The first ones the pump? it looks like a filter inside

    looks like an old time filter/regulator. the glass bowl comes off for cleaning.

    If the bowl is on the fuel pump, there'll be a filter element inside that's replaceable. I think you can get replacement pumps with or without the 'sediment bowl.'

    The second filter is an add-on. Universal style parts store item - doesn't hurt anything, might help.

    Can i bypass the glass one if it gets clogged?

    No, the glass one is a pump and filter unit all in one. If it gets "clogged", clean the bronze element in it. I like to think of them as a first line of defense for the old Carter YF carb.
