    He doesn't like the brake pull when the drums get wet. :rofl:

    He also is running a 255hp Chevy 350 V-8. FYI

    Thanks :) Horsepower makes sense for disk brakes, but then again a 350 and a D35? sounds like broken axle city to me.

    It's a D27.... People have been running them with V8's for years...

    That looks pretty good to me. Did he have to have the back side of the hub turned so the rotors would seat? Or did he have to change the inner bearing race to a thicker one, or anything like that? What did he pull the parts off of? Looks like a good job. :beer:

    I'm not to sure. I just took the pictures. Let me see if I remember. CJ5 rotors. Used the same bearings in the D27 hubs. And the rest of the parts were from a 79' Chevy truck with full time 4wd.

    He had to redrill the backing plate to reclock for caliper clearance. That way he could get the caliper between the fill plug and the bearing cap.

    good idea, but did it also give him enough clearance between the knuckle and the caliper as the pads wear? or did he grind the caliper also? can't tell from the pics, and just looking out for safety.
