    Hello everybody. I'm trying to locate an new upper steering shaft and steering column tube for my 73 cj5. Anyone know a place that sells these?

    Can't get them new, though (mine is all apart right now) the steering column is just a pipe. I get home tomorrow and I can measure inside and outside dimensions. The column essentially has a journal bearing the shaft rides in. The shaft might be more problematic because of the splines. I'm wondering if a driveshaft shop can cut a new one with the spline count known. Maybe someone else would know this...
