I have one in my 65 CJ6 originally behind a 4cyl. I just finished a rebuild, no diffirence from any of the other T90s I have done, all parts seem interchangable. It has a 9 1/8 input shaft, with an aluminum spacer between the tranny and bellhousing. I checked a couple of my pubs and found no mention of it (to include actual 65 dealers book). I was thinking the same thing about what the hell? when I took it apart last month.

I was sure I had written down the tooth counts in the garage but can not find them. Where did you source you 9 1/4 clutch from? The PO put a 9 1/8 and I have only been able to find places that can rebuild the 9 1/4. I have been using a 9 1/8 disks from a late 70's buick 231, not an exact match but it works until I can find the correct one.

75-77 Buick 3.8L works (10spline 1 1/8dia) but if you can get the 9 1/4 go with it. The 9 1/8 starts giving you problems at about the halfway worn mark on the disk, it starts to rub the pressure plate (metal to metal). It has worked for me for the last 10yrs (2 clutch disks) but I am now thinking about pulling the tranny again and ordering the correct one from your source. Part of owning old, sometimes obsolete vehicles is finding things that work, I am still considering swaping the 198cu that came in the Jeep, but I keep finding parts that work and it will not just die.
