Wanted to post up a couple pics and say thanks to everyone who has answered questions since I started on this. The help has been invaluable.

75 CJ5, started all stock except dash, steering column, 31" tires.
    Ford 302, T-18, Teralow Dana 20
D44 rear, D30 front, ARB's, 4.56 gears. 31 spline CroMo front shafts with 297X joints
YJ 4.5" springs with all YJ mounting brackets and shackles
High Angle Driveline driveshafts and CV conversion
    Chevy front disk brake conversion
    Power brake conversion
    Hydro clutch conversion
    Electric fan conversion
    Custom 2.5" exhaust
All the little goodies that make a project like this come together

Everything is mocked up now and must be blown apart for final painting and welding. I've got about 180 hours into the project at this point. More pics at

Finally on the new suspension. Tires will be changing to 35's

Thanks for all the replies :)

The booster is from Pirate Jack on Ebay. They're the front end for a large brake company that specializes in aftermarket brake systems for hot rods and customs. I think it's MBC or something like that. They were really easy to work with. I checked quite a few boards before buying from them and I don't recall any negative press on them.

The engine was built as a trail engine to pull from 400 to 4000 rpm in a 6000 pound rig. It gets the job done R) Can't wait to get this one on the road to see how it does in a truck that weighs about half as much.
