Half top Question

I came across an old city jeep - Appears to be a mid 70's cj5 - behind a house in an alley in Cincy. Overall the Jeep is in poor shape, however, the owner has a tarp over the half-top which has protected it from the elements.
    I have a '61 CJ5.
I'm trying to figure out if this steel half top will work on my Jeep. Were steel half tops even available for later year CJ5's - all the literature I've seen for them has come from the 50's and early 60's. If so, are the body differences significant enough to prevent this top from fitting my jeep?
I'll try to get some pics posted tomorrow afternoon - I think the owner is just going to give me the whole rig - and all I want is the top, so if anyone around Cincinnati is interested they can chime in.

This has been covered a lot ... :) It's even in the Technical Library IIRC.

The CJ-5 body did not change significantly from 1955 through 1975. Any top from that era will fit any Jeep from that era. Tops from 1976 on are different because the windshield changes. A pre-76 top will fit a 76-on Jeep if the pre-76 windshield is fitted, and vice-versa.

You're right...it is in the tech library - amidst the madness I must have skipped over the four lines that cover it. Thanks for the reply.
