I had thought of doing an early wagon like a woody.

I knew a guy who did something simular (think they are in Ohio now). He did extend the frame a touch (don't remember how much now) so that the 2nd row seats fit well. It was not much longer than my Flattie at the time, and was a great Elk hunting rig as it was WARM in there :).

Yup - wider and longer. I believe the frame is wider as well, but could be wrong. I know it took Robert quite a bit to do what he did. He was a body man and it took him all one winter to get the body the way he wanted it.

Frame is quite a bit wider. Probably be a lot less work to just chop a wagon, frame and body. There was a Willys pickup in town for a while that someone had shortened to about CJ length. Looked liked it was successful.
