COOL! Nice looking 5 and a neat score with the steel half cab. What are the plans for it?

mostly keep it stock for now. im gonna clean up the frame and paint it then i have a tub in a lot better shape that im going to put back on. id like to upgrade the brakes to at least 11" if i can find some. the snowplow works great on it so hopefully i can get it together enough to plow my driveway this winter. future plans who knows i dont want to go crazy with it but im sure ill change things as i go

well i wire brushed the frame the best i could, coated the whole thing in POR 15 and top coated it with some semi gloss chassis paint. i ordered new floor pans and some universal floor channel material that is a little wider then the stock hat channels but i think it should work pretty good, if my fabrication skills are ok we will see, and some body poly body mounts plus a rear crossmember scence i didnt have one due to rust. i searched on here and found a bunch of diffrent answers but does anyone know how many body bushings there is and where they are located. the body on mine when i bought it eas welded to the frame with sign posts.

I'm trying to figure body mount locations as well. Mine has been patched so many times you can't tell. Hopefully your replacement tub has all the holes. Please let me know if you figure it out.

well its been a while scence i posted but i have been working on it, trying to get it usable before we get any real snow here in the nort east. as it turn out the cheap second hand welder i have and my little welding knowledge didnt work so good but i made do with tack welding and lots of bolts. oh well not what i wanted to do but what i had the ability and budet to do plus its still a lot better then what i started with.

well i made it, kind of. its no where near done but its together enough to plow with which is what i was hopeing to do this year. put the top on the night before and hung the doors about an hour before the snow started. i hate working outside on vehicles this time of year!!!
