    All,
I plan on replacing all gaskets on the 134 B-4 re-installing.. so my question is pulling off the the crank's pulley.
Will just a gear puller do it? Any "tricks" needed or precautionary words of advice to get the pulley off? I don't want to bend it all to hell...
    Thanks,
    Joe in Jersey

wouldnt use a puller, for fear of bending it. all of mine came off by hand, or with a little persuasion from a small hammer

PB blast the nut and pulley area
try to loosen nut with an impact wrench first

    ,or
    - protect rad with thin plywood or heavy cardboard
    - correct impact 6 point socket
    - a long breaker bar with socket on nut. position the bar's handle to lay on the left front frame rail
-the tranny "and" transfer : nuetral
-"pop" starter as the nut will come loose.

couple light vibratory hits on the pulleys center should allow for it to slide right out. ( don't hit the flanged area where the belt sits, damn things are really easy to bend)

Patience and a light hand are required should the pulley give you an attitude

    Kaiser Will & Modified,
Thanks... I've got the engine on a stand, and just removed the nut. I'll PB the pulley overnight and try as you've suggested.
(BTW: I like the technique IF the engine were installed; I'll remember that.)
    More later... Thanks again.
