    Heres what I've got....
front: warrior products shackle reversal with pro comp 2 1/2 springs
rear: warrior products 1 1/2 shackles with pro comp 2 1/2 springs and 2 degree shims

My question is that is it all right to fill in the spaces between the leaf spring bushings and the shackle with washers or should I look for new leaf spring bushings that take up the slack. Looks to be about a 1/4 " gap that I'll have to fill if I go the washer route.
There were washers in there when I took everything apart, but I'm trying to not do such a hack job this time around.
If anyone has pictures that has been thru this, I would appreciate it .

Thanks for any and all opinions.

I see no problem using washers as you mentioned.
Make sure you don't overtighten the shackle bolts though.

Speaking of over tightening the shackle bolts...

What is a good rule of thumb or guide to use to tighten up these shackle bolts? Is there a torque range that could be used?

I think 20-30 ft lbs was the published torque range for shackle bolts used with rubber bushings.
the poster above should prolly use what the lift kit manufacturer and/or shackle manufacturer suggests, but you want it to be able to flex/move.

I agree, washers would be just fine. As far as the torque goes I use locknuts and tighten them down just enough that the washers on the outside of the shackles don't move. Probably 20 - 30 lb-ft like jpflat2a said.
