Should fit. The bumper will be too wide and the shafts will be too long. Depending on the winch it may be too wide if you have Saginaw steering. Knowing what kind of winch would be helpful info.
Not sure if the front bumper would be a direct bolt up to the frame rails either

If I remember correctly, the PTO's are different between the wagons, trucks and CJ's . The wagons and trucks have a dog leg and extend further out. Could cause some interference with the frame, I think.

Doh! Good catch Lamar. The pto is different but depending on setup can be made to work. The Koenigs are different. Not sure on the ramseys and other. May still work depending on what the pto is and how stock the jeep is. The Koenigs are wider, have the dogleg mentioned, but are rotated differently

I believe the two different Koenig PTO cases are essentially the same, but the mounting holes/bolt are "clocked" to a different angle. (One case points down more.)

Probably could be plugged and re-drilled. But the #51 Koenig PTOs are fairly easy to find on Ebay and elsewhere.

The Willys Wagon/PU ones are wider and have a dog-leg in the case Lamar mentioned. The CJ units are narrower and are clocked different as you noted.

    Model 41 (wagon/pu) vs. model 51 (CJ).

Staying with the PTO string> How do I remove the konig PTO (mod 15 front & rear) from my transfer case? It looks like will need to seporate the housing????? Thinking of taking the hole set up off all the way including the winch and drivv shaft / carrier and seeing if I can get a trade for an OD and just go electric for the winch since I am going to a sag steering unit and konig will not fit anyway.

A Koenig Winch can fit with Saginaw steering. You have to move the winch towards the passenger side. I have both on my '59/5 and '59/6. To remove the pto unit from the transfer case, remove the 5 pipe plugs on the back of the pto unit, reach in with a hex socket (allen socket) with an extension, and remove the bolts. Be careful not to drop the bolts or collared lock washers into the pto or you will be taking it apart. I think the socket is 5/16" going from memory.
