The paint used in this roll-on process is a Canadian equivalent of Rustoleum. I picked up a gallon when I was up there. It Cost about $30 a gallon. Pretty sure Rustoleum would work but I didn't want to risk it, so I used the brand that was recommended. I did spray the grille and windshield frame with an HVLP, which came out OK as well.
    Good luck with your project.

I like the darker one as well. as mentioned above, just looks a little tougher, and not your everyday orange.

Solid color...with a clearcoat. I'm not 100% set on a black grill...I could go body color...or make the windshield black instead of the grill.

I restored a 71 Renegade & it was ORANGE-what us folks in Colorado would call Denver Bronco orange. I like the lightest of your 3 colors. FWIW I think the windshield frame should be black, and the grille body color.

x3 on the black windshield frame and body colored grill!
I'm curious to see what the darkest color posted would look like... I think that would turn out really well with a clearcoat on top! ...My '72 is pretty close to the middle color you posted with a black windshield frame.

That's the color I'm looking for, thanks for posting. I think I will end up with the black windshield and body color grill. I'll post up pics when it's done. Should be the end of next week.

Looking forward to the painted photos.
On ours I plan to mix a some white with the yellow body color to paint the grille, interior, underhood and inner wheelwheels. Same color, just a slightly lighter tone.
I like the look of a black windshield, but my model is yellow and red.

In view of recent events, Atomic Orange is appropriate.
I like the darker color Norm... and would vote to keep the windshield frame black.

The tub (inside and out), dash, hood, grill, and fenders will be the darker orange (I just hope it stays that way after some clear coat is applied).

The windshield, mirrors, roll bar, hood hardware, and wiper cover will be black.

The Atomic Orange is fine, and resembles Renegade Orange.

I'd go the other way though, and add a lot more white to get a Creamsicle Orange color.
