Does anyone know if these are still being made by anyone? I have looked and could not find a source. Searched on this site and some members have used cj5 tops. Does the cj5 have the same type channel rail on the top of the windshield for the top to slide into. Some say the cj5 top is about 1 inch wider on each side.
Just wondering if the cj5 had that channel on windshield.

A CJ5 bikini top will fit CJ3A and later flattys. 2A's and earlier ones will not work with the CJ5 top. They make ones for the 2A's and earlier jeeps.

I have a CJ5 top on the Jalopy.

I also us a 5 bikini on the 3B. Just added a snap on each side of the windshield frame for the extra width.

I used a 76 and later CJ7 Bikini top. They're narrower than the ecj5 tops, so they fit a little better. I curled the front around, and buttoned to the front of the windshield frame.

I have the cj5 top on my 3a and it's fine, but really is a little bit too wide. However, the 2A ones are too narrow, so I figured when I actually need a top, then wider is better than narrower. I don't use one unless I really need it to stay dry.

Had one made for my 3B by New Life Canvas two years ago. Bit over $100 shipped at the time.

They were a little tough to get ahold of, but did outstanding work.

Go to your local marina, ask for the closest canvas top maker and get a custom top made! Any color and shape!
