Ok, so like usual I take a crap-load of pics of the stuff I never need for refrence and overlook taking pics that should be no-brainers. I'm getting around to filling up all the "extra" holes in the dash and don't know what went where.

Does anyone have a dash pic of a CJ2A, and maybe some sort of refrence to tell me what said switch is and where it goes?

    Thanks,
    Kenny

the 6 little holes on the right side of the dash are for the dash plate

    dr side side: headlight, governor
above the guages: tell tale (hi/low headlight beam) light, throttle cable, dash light, choke cable
the rest: 3 holes surrounding 1 big hole is for the key coil/ignition and then the 6 little hole for the dash plate.

    no prob

if your rig was an early enough '46 or a column shift there would have been 3 dash plates so 12 little holes on the pass side.

yep, it had the 3 dash plates but it wasn't a column shift. good lord why did everyone who rode in the thing feel compelled to drill a friggin hole somewhere?? it was already so rusted it couldn't cast a shadow.

i'm diggin' your trick stick shift too!

i got lucky with only having a dozen holes to fill and a couple of dents to take out. prob the only part of my rig that was left alone. i did have to fill/plug and then re-drill the throttle and dash light holes.

with my rig the po attempted to slap a 2a (some what modified:rofl:) tub on a mb frame so there are a lot of wtf mods.
