Pics of the 2" skyjacker softride spring lift and the 6" long shakles i fabricated. i also stripped more paint off of the stainless steel body. By looking at the first pic can anyone tell me if i need to install a drop pitman arm or will i be ok the way it is.

I would guess you're gonna get a lot of bump steer with the drag link angled that much, and a lot of wander with shackles that long. You will most likely need a dropped pitman arm and some caster shims (forum member Mcruff makes REALLY nice steel ones) to get it driving properly.
I love the bare stainless steel look!

With shackles that long I would say your caster angle will way off making a scary ride.

Ya - the shackles would have me more concerned than the link angle. But then I am thinking of Saginaw and I am not sure what you have there.

As said above, yes get a dropped pitman arm. Bumpsteer is no friend.

Thanks for the feedback guys. My steering box is a saginaw, and it looks like the caster shims are needed as well. I was also thinking of some other options like scarfing off the axle pirch, rotating the axle to the right deg. and rewelding it in the new location or putting the stock shakles back in and fabricating a longer more riggid front end rear leaf spring pirch to get the height I am looking for.
