Well I went to put that sealed bearing in my t-90 but I found where the leak was after scrapping of about 10# of Ga clay- cracked case- only a short crack
easy to get to so I sealed it with some hizut 3m sealer till I get the body off then I'll get it welded up

  2. Make sure its done by some who is good at welding cast. It should not be done by just anyone, or it will crack more.

That would be easier to braze IMO. And can be plenty strong.

T-90 cases are easy to find, don't take a chance just grab a new one. pulling the tranny is the most time consuming part of the job.

I've got a buddy that can weld anything but a broken heart. But I need a longer shaft for the buick 231 project and I came across a site with new t-90's
for around $500.00 so I'll have a spare trans with a short shaft anyway. Anybody got the torq specs for the flywheel for an F134?

  9. Its like an automatic dipstick. No need to check the fluid level, if its leaking, it has fluid. If it stops leaking its out of fluid

Put about 30 miles on, no red 90wt on the floor now if I can get all the motor leaks stopped I can put the oil dry away. lol
