Can you expand on what you mean by - does not work? Also do you have this piece mounted to the glove box opening in the dash

Most electrical issues with our jeeps are usually the result of a grounding issue...
The speedometer to dash mount nuts are 10-24. Should be a 3/8" wrench or socket.
As Fino CJ stated, very simplistic design and easy to disassemble.
