They share the same gear as jeep jk do have.

A good thing about those gear they can be retro-fit into older dana 44 (prior to 1986) with little modification.

Don't you mean 1/4" less lift? Since the larger tube moves the spring further from the axle center?

I just got 9 gallons of fuel out of the Rodeo's tank. At $2.50/gallon, that's $22.50, taking my axle down to $77.50! (y)

I can 'taste' that... shudder. Or did you drop the tank and pour it out?

Dropped the tank but kept it above my cans, plugged all the holes but the main one, stuck a hose in and used just enough compressed air in the tank to get it started, then gravity. (y)

It smells surprisingly usable. The most recent dated piece of paper I found in the car was Dec. of '16, so the gas must not be too old. Good enough for my '64 Ford!

$100 bucks for the whole rodeo? That's a steal!

    Sort of...
I would rather have had just the axle. Disposing of the carcass without a title is going to be a challenge.

    I prefer a torch. :D
It's just a hassle, because I have to haul it off in a bunch of little trips to the dump and get nothing for it for scrap value. :(

Scrap the chunks in barrels full of other stuff excluding the numbers.

That's something. That company went weird a few times since the company changed hands in ~'01 and '10. Just keeping up with the world market, I guess. I'll just stick with my red- and white-blocks for now. They already have too much wiring. ;)

And no one mentioned hydrogen fuel cells on our jeeps. I'm thinking as long as it isn't a duplicate of the Hindenburg we might fare well.

Finally! Updated the pics from the Photo-toilet debacle.

I should be back on this project within the next month or two. (y)
