They are very scarce. You should make them. Weld a piece of pipe/tube to flat stock. Make up the pieces and a shop should be able to weld them for you... or find a friend with a welder.

Got a pict of one? I have a bunch of door hinge parts that I got from a guy that had an early cj parts yard before he passed away. I know he had several hard tops last time I was down there.

The hinge needed is above rearview mirror, is white hinge on black windshield upper hinge, door hing needed is "L" shape, and triangle portion of hinge is mounted to windshield with 2 bolts using existing mount holes, than portion which has hinge pin hole is bottom of "L"female side, door side hinge is male side, hope pic help. I can make this but if u are willing to sell me some, its saves a lot of fabrication time. U can call me at 712-314-1862.
If I can get Left and Right side I will make more just having a master set to copy from is 75% of fabrication time.

    Thanks again for help

Good luck with your quest. They are scarce because there were only as many as there were Meyer cabs. The cabs get removed and the hardware gets lost... I presume. It seems like there are plenty more tops out there than there are hinges.

Just a comment - the original part was stamped/formed from sheet steel, but you don't have to make your replacements the same way. You can make the flat parts as two pieces, and have them welded together, and use a piece of pipe or tube to accept the hinge pins. Make the parts and then pay a welder to weld them together. Once you find the material, you can do this in an afternoon using a portable drill, hacksaw, a file and a vise.

[IMG][/IMG] this is hinge needed left and right side, would like to purchase a set use them as master set and make copies 10 left and 10 right, or if someone is will to borrow a set to make copies from. hinge is upper windshield and uses existing holes to bolt on in pic is triangle shaped and bent forward for female side of hinge as door side hinge is male.
    Thanks

The windshield changed in 1976. That is why it's different from the pictures above. These hinges will be even more scarce that the ones for the pre-76 cabs. Orrville is the company that makes Meyer cabs.

Nothing like what you are looking for. The first set is the closest and I'd like to know what they are (along with the rest). Sorry.

I had one a 73 CJ 5 before it left with the practice wife, I loved it. However all things stated are true, but then no one ever said a Jeep was a luxury car. It is simple basic transportation that will take you anywhere. That being said I recently acquired a 75 CJ 5. The Jeep gods were smiling on me and I found a half cab Meyer top in Wichita Falls Tx. The fellow that had it is in the US Air Force and was going home to Ohio for Christmas. He graciously agreed to bring it to me in Missouri on his way home. Thank you for your service 2nd Lt McCoy. It's in the shop being repaired and painted(Not white). Hopefully it'll be done by the time to take it off next spring.
