Just don't buy the "replacement" round ones with the adjustable arm-length. They're so cheap all they do is vibrate which makes them useless.

    I'm mounting mine this week.

I'll have to post back here and let you all know.

I ran the same style mirrors before, but with straight, double jointed arms, like the M38A1 mirrors.

    No issues.

Yes they are cheap. I haven't experienced vibration problems....yet.

I guess it's personal preference but, I don't care for the big square mirrors. They do provide netter visibility and, that's their job but, I like the little round mirrors. I use a convex one on a stubby little arm. Hard to see with the top on but, I don't usually have the top on it.

i have a nice stainless round convex one on my 67 on the stock arm. got it from napa i think. but I dont like it or use it . the convex mirror just doesnt work for me. iv got to either get a flat one or change out the glass if i want to use it. which i dont anyway

I bought a round one 5" I think at Napa and installed it onto my factory arm. Its the flat glass with a metal housing and I love it, its not the convex one. Yes the square mirrors likely offer better visibility but I definitely prefer the look of the round ones over the look of the square.

Mounted them up.... Hope to drive it and see how they are.

My old M38A1 style mirrors, mounts and arms were silent, so we'll see.

I dislike the convex mirrors. Prefer flat glass in that right hand one. Makes backing with a trailer a whole bunch easier, no matter which vehicle you are using. Plus I have a better idea what is on that side if it isn't all distorted and "Appear Smaller Than They Really Are". How many accidents are a direct result of changing lanes into some one because they look farther away than they really are?

Give me a good set of 'West Coast' truck mirrors or the square ones here (or round) as long as they both have flat glass in them!
