I was in the middle of cleaning up my transfer case and cracked one of the bolt holes on rear output housing. No worries I had a spare. the spare came off a t90j so I'm assuming it was from a truck or wagon. When I was looking at the speedo gear and the difference between the two. the t90j gear is a lot more coarse than the one in my t90a. My question is which one would work best for me. I am running 33" tire, or would it make a difference?

    thanks guys,

    nickmil In mothballs.

The drive and driven gears are a matched set according to tooth count, pitch, and diameter. You cannot just arbitrarily mix and match them. You need the numbers from both gears to know what you have and what you need. Gear ratio in the axle comes into play here also.

Yes they are a matched pair, and have both the drive gear and driven gear on both sets, And running 5.38 gears

I saw the numbers on the drive gears but I didn't pay attention what the numbers were. I will get them tomorrow after work.
