    66 CJ5 D27 I'm assuming it's all a press fit? I've got the drum off.

Yep just like the rear D-44. Some of the guys have separated the drum from the hub and replaced the studs so the drum slips onto the hub for easier brake work. A search should find it.

Look at Flat Fender Tech at workinProgress post. You will find everything there you need.

Thanks again Walt. I needed to replace the studs anyway because the PO has wheel spacers attached & I think I want to keep them on...currently the lug nut only gets about 3/4 of a bite on the threads so I went to Napa & the guy gave me some studs that were about a half inch longer but the swagged part is loose so I'm gonna have to go back & get some that will work. The new drums I got have bigger holes than the originals.
