Any chance there is an uneven mounting surface? It sure sounds like that bolt is causing some flexing/binding.

Anything is possible....I'm not sure how to check that. I did hold the OD up to the case and ran a really thin feeler gauge around everything.... I ran it a little the past few days....I doesn't leak and none of the bolts loosened up... I was also able to put a little more torque on the red bolt without any binding so maybe something is seating in or...who knows what. I still believe something isn't right. But it is working fine and my leaks have pretty much disappeared. :)

I think I have my leaks mostly fixed. Here is a picture under my jeep. It sat at my dads house for a few hours today....I leaked the usual engine oil and power steering fluid but no gear oil! Yea!!!

Funny you said that because I actually found this idea on pinterest... You just remove all the drain plugs on your vehicle and go for a long drive.... when/if you make it home you will not have any drips on the garage floor anymore.....BRILLIANT!

Looks like you have a pretty good handle on sealing it up! :) How's the OD shifting and mounting bolt situation going?

yes I am very pleased with my fluid retention.. As for the OD. I never really got anywhere with it. I am just running it with the "red" bolt torqued @ 15lbs and the other 4 bolts torqued to the required 30lbs. It shifts fine and isn't leaking and the other 4 bolts are not coming lose. So, for now that is what i'm doing. I was getting tired of messing with it. So, I wouldn't really consider it fixed....but it is working fine.
