Here is my dilemma; I got rid of my super rusty body to make room and satisfy local code enforcers before I figured out where to position my SBC 350/350 in the frame so what I need to know is if I bolt on my front grill with radiator on, there anyone out there who can give me some measurements or reference points to tack on my motor mounts so when I do get another body, it will drop down on the frame and clear the body? I know this way is bass ackwards but it is what it is. Thanks for any help. Bob

Bob , I would say wait...............there really is no good reason at least in my mind to blindly tack some mounts in there.
A SBC in a short wheelbase Jeep is already tight.......most times the grill shell needs to be cut & modified while the Radiator mounts get pushed farther forward to clear the fan. Rear mounted distributor in the SBC adds another challenge..........I've seen plenty of them in there but hardly two that are alike. Good Luck!

I agree with Tarry. You really need to mock it all up before you tack in anything. You're also looking at making sure you clear steering too. You might need to offset it a bit.
