Could someone with an early Dauntless-powered CJ post or e-mail me a pic of the stock radiator? I'm interested in the lower driver-side area. The one I ordered from 4WD Hardware wont show up for another week and I'm wondering if the bottom tank is going to clear the through-the-crossmember power steering conversion I did.

maybe these will help. they are from the bottom of the engine side of the radiator. my universal coming off the spud shaft (mcruf corp. pat pend.) is showing on the left. i have notched the cross member slightly so it is not coming through the crossmember actually.

Thanks, guys. That's just what I needed. Pretty sure I'm boned. I put the spud shaft straight through the X-member, then the U-joint connects to it right where the bottom of the tank looks like it's going to be. That's what I get for rushing things.

the photos are a little deceiving. on my 225 69-5 the bottom of the radiator tank stops just about at the middle of the xmember. maybe a little lower. notice that the tank curves up a little on the left side near my steering.
