    Don't know about other engines....

iirc there are two different brackets for the dauntless..

Not saying that either one won't work.

I'll tell you if you promise to stop calling it a "dizzy".

Try putting an WTB ad in the classified section. Dan is right, there are 2 different styles. One is a 2-pronged, flat piece and the other looks like a rocker arm.

Thanks for the heads up on the OPG Olds clamp but I wasn't aware that a SBC clamp would work......Bob

I did a quick search for a Buick 350 and that one kept coming up. Looks like mine, so it might work.

Those prices are crazy. They weren't showing up on my phone. Check your local pick-n-pull.

Most of my engines use the rocker style on the Dizzy hold down.

I can use Dizzy as I already know the answer

I looked at the T/A part and wasn't sure whether just a bolt with an oversize washer was the best design.

That's what I have. Works great. Put an ad in the classified if you want original.

The design principle is the same wether it's a thick washer or something resembling a rocker arm. One contact point secures the distributor with a bolt and a piece of metal.
