I should have figured as much. I'll start by admitting that my M38 hasn't moved in about 4 months. (ducking  ) yeah, yeah, I know. Anyway, I put it in reverse the other night and bumped the starter to move it back about 2". No problem. Well, this morning, I went out to the garage and viola....a pint of 90 wt on the floor. I reached up and pulled it out of gear and it seems it was in enough of a bind sitting in gear that it created enough clearance in a bearing/seal to leak out. Well how about that! Who would of thunk that a D18 would leak oil? Guess I have something else to add to the list of things to do to it.....

A Leaky JEEP you got to be kidding me lol. OK enough sarcassum , Its a jeep its supposed to leak , now if it stops leaking start to worry. I replaced every seal , every gasket , bearing , bushing and bearing and mine has 2 leaks and I havnt felt every thing up yet lol. But none of them are bad enough to worry me yet ;)

Yeah, I know. I jsut thought it funny that it only did it when in a bind sitting in reverse. It was pushed up against some other stuff, and when I hit it out of gear, it settled a bit. Must be quite a bit of play in that rear yoke.
