building a workshop, then building a dividing wall to make one side storage and then a work bay. been wanting to do this for a long time.

Just curious as to why you welded the strapping on before it went to the sandblaster. Seems like it would have been a lot nicer welding on some clean metal.

the frame was ground down to bare metal (just the top of the frame) then i sprayed weld through primer before i welded the straps down.

Did you use flux core or MIG with the weld through primer? Just wondering as I have never used that primer.

it was flux core wire for now. kinda playing with it. i should get a bottle of gas and try it that way too. the primer i got was through eastwood and a high zinc compound to get better connection.

I don't think the snow would stick where he lives. Wide open spaces

if it doesn't blow i get lots of snow build up. still working on the workshop and had to get the plow tractor up to snuff.. sold two of my parts tractors and some attachments to make more room in my barn to work on the cj. i will get a storage space for the grand cherokee to make even more space for me to work.. when it's 20 and below it makes it hard to work out there even with the torpedo heater going.
