Front tank or no

    BTW my truck did not come with a factory fuel tank skid plate. I was surprised to see the bare fuel tank hanging down from the frame. Came complete with a whomping big dent in the center of the tank too. How can anyone buy a Jeep without skid plates? :? (a rhetorical question)

    Be careful when you are just letting the rear tank sit on the skid plate, my 69 did that and i found out pretty quick how easily little rocks find tehre way inbetween the tank and skid plate and they love to make little pinholes, had to get a new tank because of the PO just let it sit there..... just my .02, also who makes the best gas cap for the under seat tank?
