dana 44 flanged axles

    anyone know if you can just install the flanged axles in place of the 2 piece ones in the earlier (pre '70) offset rear dana 44's?

    Answer is Nope. Housing ends and axle bearings and seals are different. Someone on here had some from an aftermarket company but don't remember who it was. Nickmil.

    Ah, I kinda figured that would be way too easy.......
    maybe the warn full-float kit is the way to go - but kinda pricy north of the border.....................
