Question About Leaking Fuel Pump

    Good afternoon - My fuel pump is leaking it appears around the top... presumably around the gasket (notice the red arrow pointing to the gasket which look cracked). I removed the two screws on the top easily but what appears to the cap doesn't budge. Does it come off and the gasket is the cause? Or I had someone suggest the screws down below is where you get to the diaphragm and that's probably the trouble. Any idea what brand pump it is so I can order the correct kit? Thanks.

    If it is leaking around the gasket then agreed, the gasket is probably just old and cracked. It probably won't come off because it is simply stuck...glued itself to the top.

    I'd suggest you remove it from the engine and take it to the bench for disassembly. Much easier that way.
