For the cj5? I've looked for it harder than I've looked for anything important and can't find one. Does anyone here have one?

Where you trying to run one?

I used to have a trunk net out of a Taurus that would stretch between the rollcage. Wasn't that big...but it kept things in place with the top down.

Curious, here. Could you just buy the smallest one available and cut it down to fit what you want, then hog ring it back together at the hook ends? Haven't looked at them all that close, but seems do-able, I'd think.

I want to cover the cargo area. Keep the coolers, etc from falling out. I figure a cargo net would work way better than ratchet straps and tie downs.

All that's coming to mind is a net that went over the full roll cage...

IMHO you're better off putting in some specific tie-downs for whatever coolers and toolboxes you have. Use some extra hood-catches..;)

Try a google search for Yakima or Thule. They are both makers of roof racks for cars and SUV's, and they sell the bungie style nets for those racks which come in various sizes. I bought two, one for the rack on back and for the bed of the jeep. But i'm not sure any elastic net would secure an ice chest if you were to roll. But it makes packing overall alot easier.
