Parking Brake Cable Routing

The FSM isn't clear and I can't remember how to route the parking brake line around the exhaust. Does it go on the block side other side of the exhaust? I also have a PTO line running up to a winch. Pictures of the correct routing would be much appreciated.

 

Mine is on the outside and kinda below the exhaust manifold as it heads down to the clip on the crossmember next to the transmission.

 

I put a cable hold down on fender . so cable stays away from exhaust

 

Anyone have a picture? I'm having trouble visualizing the right path.

 

Mine has the heater in the way but is like the above photo.
Going forward thru the firewall adjacent to inner fender, then down and in, aft of exhaust pipe, then down and below the pitman arm and drag link, then down and to the bracket on the bell housing. Mine us encased in a springlike cover to keep it off hot parts.

 

Ah, I don't have the clip that attaches to the bell housing. what does that look like or does someone know of a source for them?

 

Looks like a flat piece of metal ¾" wide wrapped around the cable. A hole through the two ends for the bolt. Twisted 90º.

 

I finally got the jeep on the hoist. Here is a picture of the clip.
