Transmission Rebuilder In Northeast

    Can anyone recommend someone to go through my T15/D20 and make sure everything is good internally and its sealed up properly? Im near New York City but would be ok to travel somewhere if the work is good.

    Hi John - I don't know of any place specifically. However, your local 4x4 clubs and forums will probably have some suggestions for a shop or mechanic that can work on your Jeep. With a little searching, I found this forum - N.Y.C. Jeep Club Forum - Index - I suggest you talk to Jeepers in your area about this. I'm sure there are members of this forum in your area, and they may respond, but your local clubs and forums will have an obvious advantage.

    I know a place out in Flemington, NJ that I could recommend.
    If its not too far for you its called Hunterdon transmission (908-788-6901). The owner, Frank, is a good guy. He did the mainshaft swap and rebuild for my SM465.
