    F134 Engine.

So, mine is leaking some - just a tiny bit that sprays onto the fender. What's the best way to replace it? Are there any tricks to replacing it that will save me some time or pain?

I searched and didn't see anything specific to the front main.

    Thanks,
    Jon

There shouldn't be any oil spraying out- there's no pressure at the front seal which is on the timing gear cover, if it's actually shot it could be oil is getting flung off of the crank pulley.

Or it could be a leak at the hose that feeds the oil filter if it's the driver side fender where you're seeing it.

If it is the front seal pull the grill/rad off, remove the crank pulley and you'll be able to remove the cover (don't miss the four bolts coming up through the oil pan) & replace the seal.

Passenger side fender under the battery tray. It's a brand new seal and engine rebuild, but there is some oil coming from somewhere. I'm not running a filter or filter lines. They are plugged and not leaking. I read somewhere it was tough to get the front pulley back on without putting undue pressure on the crank shaft. Should I not worry about that?

I've never had an issue with getting the pulley going on or off.

Any oil showing up on the bottom of the water pump? I f it's the pulley flinging oil I'd expect to see that.
