So it has been awhile since I posted anything so I wanted to show my progress. I finished all the body work and painted and buffed my Jeep a couple of weeks ago. I added a picture to show the progress. I am working on connecting the wiring, fuel and cooling system. Things are going good but I have one question?

I usually fill my new oil filters before I screw them on the engine. With this F134 I’m not sure if that is the correct method?

    Thanks for the help

You're talking canister type, correct? It is better to fill it, that's what I do. Put the filter in and start pouring oil in the canister till the filter won't take anymore. It's not absolutely necessary since it's a bypass and not full flow, just a good idea to do it.

Yes, it is a canaster type, do you fill around the outside?

    Thanks again

You can just pour the oil on top of the filter and let it run off and down in the open space.

Aftermarket tub? The Jeep name is in the wrong font and location. Looks good so far.

    Donny,
You are correct, this tub is best I can tell with a lot of help on an earlier post around a 72. It was solid and what I had so I went ahead with the build. I have parts from the original 57 along with a 60 that I picked up. Tub is from early 70’s winsheld and tailgate are from 56. All in in all this is my Jonny Cash Jeep (One Piece At A Time). LOL
