Gas Needle Jumpy

    Hey guys- My gas gage does read correctly but the needle jumps around and is annoying. Did some research that maybe the grease on the back of the needle is gone, sending unit is bad, bad electrical connection or maybe just a tired fuel gage? Any ideas before I commit to any parts? I was gonna check the grounds but I need to buy a new meter as I ran over my old one. :(
