Jim, now I understand what your looking for a speedo drive gear to fit. The BorgWarner R10 overdrive was marketed as a "Rancho" overdrive that was used with the Dana18 transfer case for 4wd applications. The BW unit was used on lots of '50s cars and some pickup trucks through the '60s in 2wd applications. Early/mid-'60s Chevy pickups sometimes had these, and were operating on 12v. There is a solenoid/coil that must have the proper voltage that you are running. If you could find both 12v parts, then you could convert it then. Many years ago, I made the mistake of mixing 6v & 12v parts trying to get one to operate and fried the solenoid coil. The original harness for the R10 should have a fuse that will need to be swapped over for a 12v change. Later units used a relay box.
