Speedometer Gear

    I just bought a replacement fiber 20 tooth gear for the transmission end and it seems to be to large of a diameter compaired to the old one,anyone know of correct OD and D at bottom of gear cut for a 2 wd tin frame SW 3sp overdrive ?I got this one from Walcks and haven't talked to them yet,when assembled it doesn"t slide in and I don't want to force it....and not sure if the one I took out is right

    Not sure what your application is. Do you have a T86 (2wd), or a Rancho cable engaged overdrive?

    1952 willys station wagon ,tin frame,2 wd,3 spd with Borge Warner OD,speedo drive gear larger diameter than one I pulled out....nosure which one is right...ID of cut on old one is.667,ID on new is .742....OD is smaller on old one because of wear......and who knows where that one came from,but it did work for a little bit......:shrug:
