    You mean the output shaft nut? Later books show it. Free to read and download on the Tom Collins site.

    I was referring to the output shaft nut.

    I finally found the time to get this finished.

    got the output shaft seal replaced, output shaft splines sealed, new gaskets on bottom pan and PTO cover, everything torqued to spec.

    Cleaned e-brake and replaced the shoes.

    Just got back from the 3 mile maiden voyage.

    nothing fell off and no weird noises.

    e-brake even works.

    so far….

    My FSM printed 8-71 calls for 130-170 Lb-ft.
