I WAS able to run the engine today! Oil started seeping and dripping from the top lip of the canister lid real quick and I retorqued the top bolt to 16 ft lbs and it definitely made a difference. It seems like Oil might have spurted again on the firewall on the right side of the air filter again. ONLY the right side. Still trying to figure out where it came from.

I'll be changing the oil tomorrow and when I do, I'll get a new Oil filter and GASKET on there.

It seems like there's a bit of drip coming down from the very top bolt as well in the canister. Does anyone know where I can source the bushing for that top seal bolt?

I'll also start to take a stab at bending the copper nickel tube tomorrow. If I can find the right fittings I should be able to get it sorted by the weekend! Standby!

My local NAPA store has a wide selection of fittings, as well as brake lines in various lengths from which I form my fuel lines from.

    Nice! I'll try them tomorrow!

I cleaned the PCV today and it seems to be working fine (not sticking). Air blows through it one direction freely and its mostly restricted (about 99.9% closed) when blowing through the other way. I'm assuming the valve is closing but It's not 100% closed at any given moment. Does that sound normal? This was just with the force of my lungs blowing through it. It rattled when I shook it and the spring seems to be working.
I cleaned it with brake cleaner before reinstalling.

Yes, That’s how I test mine too, with lung force.
    Sounds like it’s working well.
I never used one but a cheap double flair should be able to handle the NiCu tubing.
The fan is blowing oil leak from your canister all the way back onto the firewall.
The new oil canister gasket should fit snug inside the edge of the lid with “NO” extra circumference.

I use copper washers for that, the ones designed for use with brake line banjo fittings.

I think correcting your filter will fix your problems. You may not need to change the oil line unless you see it leak. The leaking oil filter at the bolt and gasket makes a mess and gives the impression that everything is leaking.

    UPDATE!
I changed the oil and filter today and ended up not swapping the oil lines. I DID swap the fuel line with Nicopp and installed a fuel filter. The reason why I didnt change the oil lines was for a few reasons.
    1. I'm just learning how to flare fitting etc I used up most of my 25' spool of 1/4 nicopp line to figure out how to shape, flare (correctly), and install the fuel line without messing it up hahha. I feel proud of my little fuel line now though!
    2. Turns out the oil leak was coming from the oil filter gasket, Changed it and It seems like its holding!
    3. The oil lines I had "aint broke" so I'm not gonna fix em lol.

Great tips on the tools and fittings though! After a 20 min test run everything seems to be holding steady! There is a slight drip coming from the top bolt still though. I had changed it to a copper crush washer and set the torque to 16ft lbs but I might try swapping the copper washer for a rubber or plastic one. I got an assortment just incase.

I wouldn't use a rubber washer for the bolt, it's a lot of force on that washer compared to the o-ring once there is oil pressure in the canister
