69 Wiring Harness And Ididit Column

    Is there a harness out there (aftermarket) that supports the Ididit column with the large GM connector or am I ahead to build my own? I have to believe someone has something out there. Been away way too long with the Jeeps. I’ll also use a 1 wire alternator, HEI ignition, maybe electric choke and fan. I’ll try to put pic on of the rats nest I had behind grill

    Painless Wiring (high dollar), Summit Racing used to sell a nice one that also came with the headlight switch, flasher unit, etc. that was reasonably priced. Many available for street rods. Be aware they will most likely be generic and not specific to an early CJ.

    My build has a Centech harness built with the GM column connector. That was 25 years ago...

    I purchased this for my 69 cj5 rebuild, haven't installed it yet but looked it over and it is pretty nice. Will work with GM column

    Most of the hot rod harnesses from places like Painless and EZ Wiring come set up for the GM steering column connector.

    Hi, I was wondering if you installed the wireing harness yet? If so how did it go? I'm. Lokking for one for my 68 cj5. I bought a cheap one and you get what you pay for.....Its junk.
