I am pulling mine apart for a rebuild. When I got to removing the pitman arm there were two sets of marks on the arm, neither of which lined up with the mark on the shaft. I marked where it was but I feel like someone got this wrong in the past. It turned farther one way. Where is the pitman arm supposed to point at dead center?

Do you have a v6 swap? Or original?

I believe the V6 was off center due to the shorter drag link than the 4F application. The pitman arm can only go so far in one direction due to it conflicting with the bellhousing.

That's what I was thinking. My 4cyl box and arm would hit the flywheel cover.
