Utility Trailer Restore

Wow, that took a while to paint~ I'm not terribly happy with the red pinstripe, but I'm not going to change it. Perhaps when it's all back together, it will be fine. I have parts coming in on Tuesday; spring stuff, should be able to get it back on the ground next week.

 

Much better than boring old black.

Wow, it certainly is much better than black! A new trailer at lowes,(which is where I bought my trailer years ago), go for 1150. I hated that mesh crap, and the skinny tires! and that mesh is a pain to paint! Wastes a lot of paint

I haven't ordered it yet, the light kit, just about all of the ones I look at have horrible reviews and all made YOU KNOW WHERE! Having to choose the best, I'll probably buy the ones from Harbor Freight~

Amazing how much work goes into something like this~ I still need tires, but was wanting to get it together so I can move it around. Now for lighting and the wooden floor.
but, kids n grandkids will be here for Easter this weekend~ so, I guess that's it for now

 

g'mornin well, I guess that just about wraps up this trailer, a little more to do (tires), but the trailer is nice looking It will be stored outside unfortunately~ I have a lot of canvas material, I was thinking about making a cover, not sure. But I thank you guys for being there for me~ makes it all more fun













a while back, we went through the boat and Jet ski thing~ while the jet skiis were not on the trailer, I put a new torsion bar suspension, new tires, new lighting, and painted it with spray cans~ really taxed my pressing finger spraying the darned thing.

 

That's attractive wood.

 

Speaking of trailers, we traded our 14' utility trailer in on this 16' economy car trailer~ it's very nice!





This is/was our 14' trailer, amazing how we got that bronco home!
