Freudian slip? I see your term “disco’d” for discontinued, but actually nearly all Land Rover “Disco’s” (Discovery) in the mid-90s used 3.54 gears. I have a couple of these in the yard to measure width when I get home Thursday. These are closed knuckle, but have a 5 on 6-1/2” bolt pattern.

Aware of that, but far from a bolt in... I believe they are coil spring. Seen them used in a Wagon before.

I’m planning on dropping one of my Wagons onto a stretched Disco chassis/axles. Vintage looks with a modern coil suspension.

There's a build thread on OWF by Rodney who used a lot of LR Disco parts under a Wagon.
Looks like a great way to go if you have the place and skills. I don't.
No shop, no welder... strictly shadetree so anything I do, swap, install, etc. has to be bolt on.
