Jeep Nr T19 Is It Feasible ?

Can a Jeep T18 maindrive gear be used on a Ford 4.02 NR T19 in order to get correct stick out length as was used with AMC straight 258 ?
I suppose the cone clutch and blocking rings would be of differing sizes compared to the Ford main drive gear. Maybe a Jeep blocking ring could be used at the front end of the direct drive synchronizer hub assembly ?

I see Jeep used 2 different 27 tooth maindrive gears and not sure why. What’s the difference between the 8121360 and the 8122416 maindrives ?

 

??, I am just guessing of course but I bet the pressure angle on the gear teeth would likely be different too. Check out the Novak research site, they might possibly tell you what is required to adapt a Ford T-19 trans to AMC engines. Might be able to use a late 70's or early 80s bell housing for correct depth and bolt pattern???
