original drum brakes on the cj or updated? I assume the top won't fit because of the rack? thanks

 

It has the original 10" brakes on all four corners, and the top won't fit over the roll bar even without the rack.

Wow the LJ is going as well. Sorry to see this, but I've been considering parting with my 05 LJ Rubi as well. Been one of my all time favorite jeeps. But I need a bigger garage addition and don't want loans. Good luck, they are both beautiful rides.

Thanks, I'll miss them for sure but time to move on to something newer and easier for the spouse to drive. Will probably get a Cherokee Trailhawk to leave in Havasu for a second vehicle.

Meanwhile, leaving Havasu tomorrow for a RV trip to Colorado for a few weeks. Then back to Fallbrook so will put the selling of the jeeps on hold until later in the year.

Okay back in Havasu, lowering the price to $4500. The jeep is NOT happy sitting around doing nothing, it needs a buyer to give it some attention. It was a great price at $7500 now a fantastic price at $4500.

I'll be in Havasu until the 11th of December.

 

Selling a classic CJ, even in great shape, is a trick.
Unless the body is pristine, you may wait a while to find the right buyer.
I have a long list of desirable upgrades/mods on my '71 RII, but the body has original paint and some trail scars.
I tried selling mine several months ago for $12K with no interest.
I'll be keeping it for many more years.

 

I understand finding the right buyer does takes time but felt maybe by lowering the price to this level might nudge someone who is sitting on the fence.
Not the best time to sell a vehicle with the holidays and such but my time is limited to when I'm here at my home in Arizona. If no sale this week I'll be back next month.

 

I would not drop your price any more!

No, haven't considered BaT yet, maybe down the road I may. Currently getting some interest here in Havasu, will see how it goes.
