Hi again, being a plow jeep from the great salty north I've never had the four body mounts across the rear of the tub...

I've got a box of pucks I just need to know the Rear crossmember body mount locations. Any help is appreciated, I know there is a drawing out there somewhere...

All I'm finding are old .net or 404 links

    Thank you... again.

I have my rig stripped down to the frame. Do you want specific measurements or just a diagram? I can shoot a photo with a tape measure tonight if you tell me what you want to see.

Center to center of the outboard mounts and ctr to ctr for the inboard circled on the right of this:

Bonus points for ctr to ctr on the straps for the drawbar and frame on the rear face.

Drawbar is a pretty big word for me. Pretty sure I took mine off. Which of these holes are you interested in?

It'll be late tonight before I can get a mark-up done.

Here is what I measured and how I measured. I used the small diameter hole on the rear crossmember as the center point. I confirmed it was the center by noting that it was exactly 14 5/8” from the end of each side of the frame which is 29 1/4”.

Center of crossmember to center of each hole on the rear crossmember for the drawbar mount 1 3/4”

Center of rear crossmember to center of the nearest mounting holes 8 1/4” on the left, 8 3/8” on the right

Center of rear crossmember to center of farthest mounting holes 24 1/8”

I also measured center to center of the brackets on my body and they are 16 5/8” and 48”, so I either lost 1/4” on the outside brackets or there is slop built in to the system between the frame and the tub. Note that my nearest mounting holes are inside the frame and your diagram shows them outside the frame. I have a 1967. Not sure if that is the reason. I hope this helps and I didn’t take you on a wild goose chase.

Do you have an under seat gas Tank, or a rear mount gas tank? I have an under seat tank on my 64, I raised my tank up about 1/4" so water and dirt can be blown out from under it. I then put a forth mount under the drivers seat. I also put a mounts under the fire wall where the sliders are, and four mounts across the rear frame, by the draw bar. It makes the Jeep stronger, but flexible too.

Thank you! That helps. My current state is pretty bad.
Currei have a bolt in the front grill mount, two bolts at the bed riser, two sort of into the "hat channels" and two where the v frame starts above the axle. All metal to metal.

From the driver seat forward is a 60 tub with road sign floor. From the side filler neck back is a 69 with side marker boss and reverse lights but no rear tank filler. My rear crossmember is channel iron and on the donor bed all those body tabs are long gone.

So here I'm adding anchors for rear carseats and noticed there is nothing back there holding onto the frame.

If someone else has the inner two tabs that are outside the rear tank I'll consider using those for extra support. There is a set of holes on the rear face just inside the frame bolts for the outer straps of the drawbar. (Mine got ripped off and bolted back on over the frame holes)

I do have an under seat tank but the PO's road sign floor is supported by 1.5" tall road sign posts for hat channels. I can't go any higher with the tank. He did manage to bolt and nut them before putting the floor down. The rear tub was also grafted onto the front tub about 3/8" short on the passenger's side. It's a mess.

Sounds like it's a mess, but it can be fixed, just how far you want to go with it. Good Luck.
