If it’s as advertised, I’ll be bringing home a used 12,000# Rotary drive-on lift on Wednesday!

The ceiling in my shop is 13-14 feet where I’ll set it up, so it should work out. There’s a 100 Amp panel with 240v, so I can run a line to the pump motor.

And… A local heating contractor will have a good, used Ruud LP gas furnace for me in a couple of weeks. 90%+ efficient, even, so just PVC intake and exhaust.

Finally, at the ripe young age of 69 (yesterday!), I’m about to enjoy a really nice shop. It’s good to be me!

I have a few years on you and I'm planning to build my dream shop with a lift this spring. Too hard to get on the floor but I'm not ready to stop wrenching.

    Send pictures!

My ceilings aren't tall enough for a good lift like that. Have had to do with the shorter MaxJax. Either way - I couldn't do what I "attempt" to do without it now days.

    Good for you.

It’s home! Needs a good cleaning and some paint but it appears to be sound.

It will be a few weeks before it gets set up - lotsa things on the “honey do” list that have a higher priority…

    Update!
It’s installed and operational. I lifted my Chevy 3500 Duramax to change oil a couple of weeks ago.

Here’s a pic. SxS is Son 2’s; we’re storing it for the winter.

With the uhm, patina, on that thing I'd think you got the old drive in hoist from last dealership I worked at:D
I really liked my old inground center post lift we had at another dealer. Worked good on everything with no posts in the way unless you found out you sold something that involved pulling a transfercase or trans

Yeah, it’s a rusty old pig. It was probably condemned by OSHA and had to be replaced.
The safety locks could use some work… When it’s in the air, I put a 4x4 under each corner!

That looks most handy. I would love to have a lift, but my ceiling is only about 7 feet in the garage.

That lift looks good, but sure better with that cool Jeep on it.
